I'm an East Tennessee girl, born and raised. I attended college in Birmingham, AL where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and Art. I now live in Nashville, TN with my husband, Jim, and our mini golden doodle, Charlie. My faith is my foundation, and I thank God every day for the opportunity to pursue my passion.
I have always been so inspired by the beauty, charm, and simplicity of growing up in the South. I hope my work reflects a mix of my Southern roots with surprising color combinations and lots of texture. I embrace imperfection and looseness in my work, striving for a balance between realism and abstraction.
My mom always tells me to slow down, and enjoy the little things in life. I hope that my art can allow others to do the same. No matter the subject, I hope my work invokes conversation, emotion, and nostalgia of favorite memories, places, and moments.
